TEXT: John 14: 1-6

          “Let not your Heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in me. In my father’s house are many mansions, if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to myself; that where i am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know.

Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, and how we can know the way?”

Jesus said to him, “I am the way the truth and the life”. No one comes to the father except through me”

                             EXPLANATION ON THE GOSPEL

1.    EARTHLY LIFESTYLE THAT CAN MAKE SOMEONE HEART BE TROUBLED.

PROV 4: 23- 24

“Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issue of life. Put away from you a deceitful mouth and put perverse lips far from you”

“YOU ARE A PRODUCT OF WHAT YOU SAY”.

“STAY POSITIVE MINDED WITH THE WORD OF GOD DAILY”.

2.    GODS PREPARATION TO RECEIVE HIS CHILDREN IN HIS MANSIONS.

MATT 6: 33

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”

·       YOU MUST SEEK GODS WORD BECAUSE GODS WORD IS THE KINGDON OF GODS ( IN GODS WORD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE IN CHRIST JESUS. (PHILIPIANS 4:19)

THE WORD “GIVE YOUR LIFE TO JESUS CHRIST MEANS, GIVE YOUR HEART TO JESUS CHRIST”

GODS RIGHTEOUSNESS (JOHN 14:15) “If you love me, keep my commandments.”

·       OBEDIENCE TO THE COMMANDMENT OF GOD, BRINGS ABOUT GODS RIGHTEOUSNESS.

3.    THINGS DEMANDED FOR ELIGIBILITY OF GODS MANSION

·       HUMBLENESS

·       TRUTHFUL TOUNGUE

·       HANDS THAT IS NOT STAINED WITH HUMAN BLOOD

·       A GODLY HEART

·       FEET THAT IS SWIFT TO RUNNING INTO GODLY THINGS/ PLEASANT THINGS.

·       A TRUTHFUL WITNESS WHO SAYS NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH.

·       A PERSON WHO COMES UP WITH PEACE IN THE COMMUNITY AND AMONGS BRETHREN

THINGS THAT CAN DENY YOU OF GODS MANSIONS (MATT 19:16­-22)

1.    RICH PERSON.  (MATT 19:24                   PROVERB 16:16-19)
